Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your best chance to make a positive impact on buyers from a street perspective. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers form their initial thoughts about your house and how you upkeep house's regular maintenance.
Acknowledging this assists us in determining what measures we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your home isn't the best it can look on the outside with touched up paint and blooming garden plants it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your place seem to say, "This is Your Next House" to a buyer? Looking through your home with a buyer's eye, I'll recommend fixes that build up Open House appeal.
I'll advise you put in storage things that give the look of clutter. Tabletops should be free and clear. Arts and crafts, souvenirs, family photos, and play time works of art should get moved out of sight. We need to "neutralize" the place so buyers can picture it as their new house.
Every room gets a once-over. Improvements that directly affect your bottom line include fixable like pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs to be steamed, fixtures that need replacing, and windows that need cleaning.
Working together, we'll make sure your house is likable and that it's comfortable, avoiding "loud" or "personalized" hues on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can try renting furniture. You want your place to look ready to live in as opposed to bare and uninhabited.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when it's time for the Open House, because all of the changes come together to set the stage for what buyers can expect after they close on your house. Brightness is important and we'll draw back curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and ensure a nice aroma circulates throughout your home. We'll add cozy-looking bedspreads, and throw pillows on your chairs and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your home has the potential to be. |
